Behind the Mic!
Live Reds baseball play by play
I first started “calling” Reds games in 1998. I’d keep score and talk into a micro cassette recorder and have a blast. I’d do this a few times a year for the next 10 years then abandoned the practice until 2024. Out of nowhere last Opening Day, I decided I’d start again. I ended up calling around 50 Reds games last year. It was so much fun, I called another 100 simulated (OOTP simulated baseball) games over the winter and have been itching for this season to start so I can get back behind the mic.
I’m a computer dumb dumb and wasn’t able to figure out the YouTube livestream for Opening Day on Thursday. I think I’ve at least worked out how to get audio to play back so that’s enough to try again today.
If you’re interested, click on the link below. I’ll start the livestream at 4:00 PM EST and 1st pitch is at 4:10 PM
NOTE: I have no affiliation with MLB or the Cincinnati Reds. I’ll be watching the game and just calling the play by play.
